Frank & Sense based in the United Arab Emirates, set out a vision of bringing the profound worth and properties of this tree gum resin back to the attention of people which seems to have been lost to society over the passage of the last few centuries.

Through careful and considered research and development, we have incorporated the natural majesty and power of Frankincense into various modern forms that will allow the people of today to be able to harness the beneficial, healing and rejuvenating impact of this wonderful gift from nature.

Frank & Sense has been a passion project that came about through the love of this immensely powerful gift from nature. The journey started on a holiday in Salalah, Oman in 2019. Two friends would then become business partners with an idea to bring this specific Boswellia Sacra Frankincense, only native to Oman, to the masses.

How? By harnessing all of the properties of Frankincense and reinventing them for use in the 21st century. Traditionally, Frankincense is available in resin and pure concentrated oil form. We believed that we would make a range of organic, sustainable and reusable products that are accessible, easy to use and familiar throughout the day. And from there our range of products has been carefully researched and developed to perfect our vision.

What makes Boswellia Sacra Frankincense genome unique is that the tree is considered "sacred" (hence the name "Sacra") to its people of Oman. The trees are harvested twice a year to ensure they are sustainable, respected, sustainably farmed and generally well looked after. The unique geographical location of the Dhofar region in Oman lends to the soil being nurtured by the winds and rain coming from the Indian Ocean while mixing with the incredibly fertile landscape.

This gives the Boswellia Sacra genome very potent properties unique to this area. The harvest occurs twice a year making the Frankincense a precious and limited gift from nature.
